Research Interests

 

 

My research is broadly centered on agroecology, political economy, and policy with a specific focus on the no-till production practices, California organic specialty crop production, and California agricultural policy.  I am interested in understanding how the existing political economic landscape of agriculture influences grower decisions about on farm practices as they negotiate the trade-offs between economic survival, environmental outcomes, and social issues.
