My first research interest is who mitigates or increases social, economic and environmental vulnerability of local people in the course of development in the Mekong region (i.e. Yunnan Province of China, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam).My other research interest is how environmental policy and development in southern China (i.e. Yunnan province) have impacted on the livelihoods of people in the Lower Mekong countries such as northern Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. |
