The Environmental Studies faculty is thrilled to announce that we have raised over $100,000 in donations to the Environmental Studies experiential learning endowment!

The donations met the generous $100,000 matching gift from the Helen and Will Webster Foundation.

We are grateful to the ~150 faculty, staff, alumni, and parents of alumni who have donated to the fund.  The money will provide long-term funding for hands on learning experiences such as, popular field courses (e.g. environmental interpretation, field methods, and natural history field quarter), labs, and field trips.

The ultimate goal is to raise $1 million for the experiential learning endowment, and we are pleased to have reached this milestone.

Please see our flier for more information on the endowment,  and watch our short video about experiential learning. You can donate to the endowment through UCSC's secure Online Donation website.
