Welcome to the Shennan Lab

The Shennan Lab is based at the Department of Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. We also work closely with the center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS).

Our research is rooted in various aspects of agroecology and environmental management. Key areas of investigation include the sustainability of agricultural systems, watershed scale environmental health and management as related to agricultural practices, integrated and biological pest management, soil and nitrogen management and international agricultural development.
