Agency Description:
The Wilmers Lab is looking for interns to create a graphical user interface and bluetooth transmission capabilities for an audio playback device called Ambiance. These speakers are used to mitigate human-wildlife conflict by simulating landscapes of fear and faciliate playback expeirments in basic ecology.
Intern Responsibilities:
Developing a GUI and bluetooth transmission capabilities from a STM32 Nucleo development board that will facilitate novice users of these playabck speakers to seemlessly operate them with confidence without needing to modify internal code.
Other Requirements:
Must have expert knowledge of Python and C/C++ programming languages. Will be required to create open-source documentation of the software produced and an easily navigable repository to host the documentation. Should be able to independently troubleshoot problems encountered along the way and find solutions to said issues, especially for some peripheral components which may have poor libraries.
Intern Shifts: Shifts are flexible, some components can potentially be remote.
