Biography, Education and Training

I am focused on highlighting and quantifying the role of Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities in Colombia in the conservation of bird diversity. Using a combination of geospatial analysis and qualitative social science methods, my research aims to explore and communicate how these local communities play a crucial role in biodiversity conservation within well-connected ecosystems in areas of high ecological significance.
