Agency Description:

UCSC Energy Management tracks, analyzes, and works to reduce campus utility use and greenhouse gas emissions. We maintain energy metering, manage utility data, and support energy efficiency projects, including onsite renewable energy.

Intern Responsibilities: 

The Energy Management Team is hiring a student to assist with water and irrigation leak detection on campus to help in water conservation efforts. Job duties will consist of reviewing internal software (Beacon AMA) for flagged leaks, documenting flags in google sheets, and reporting flags to facilities staff as needed. Training on software and leak detection process will be provided.

Other Requirements: 

Proficiency in excel/google sheets preferable. Strong written communication skills and attention to detail a must.

Intern Shifts:

Shifts are flexible around student’s schedule Monday – Friday 8-5. We are not open on weekends. We would like a student to commit to the full year if possible.
