Agency Description:
Kalkar Pond Restoration focuses on creating a diverse wetland habitat at the Kalkar Pond


Intern Responsibilities:
Interns will do a combination of physical restoration work (e.g., clearing invasive plants, planting terrestrial native plants, and managing wetland plants), doing observation work including quantitative and qualitative journaling, and designing and implementing research projects (e.g., water analysis, hydrology, geology, history, policy, technology).
Other Requirements: You should be comfortable working outdoors.
Intern Shifts: We’ll select consistent days/times together – but which days/times is flexible.
Location: Kalkar Pond – 222 Quarry Ln (adjacent to UCSC, a short walk from Hagar/Coolidge intersection)
