Agency Description:
Committee to Bridge the Gap has been fighting—and winning—environmental battles that have local, national and international impact for over half a century. At the core of what we seek to disrupt is the unholy alliance between large, powerful polluting interests and “captured” regulatory agencies (captured by the industries they are supposed to regulate), which threatens both public safety and the constitutional rights at the heart of a democratic system.
Intern Responsibilities:
Interns will be assigned a variety of research tasks on our various projects relating to environmental toxins, nuclear responsibility, and regulatory integrity. Interns will work with CBG staff and/or other interns to answer research questions and report findings in research memos. There may be opportunities for interns to give input and assistance on preparing reports and presentations, and for interns to give public comment during government hearings.
Other Requirements:
Be comfortable working on your computer
Intern Shifts
Interns may schedule their hours M/Tu/Weds between 10am and 5pm. We encourage interns to begin at least one shift at 10am (any day) so they can attend our team meeting.
