The Environmental Studies Internship Office was featured in the Spring 2013 issue of the UCSC Review Magazine.

The Internship Program hosts hundreds of students each year, and offers them the chance to work closely with local companies to learn job skills and to gain knowledge that they might miss in the classroom. The Review article features interviews with student interns and the Internship Coordinator Chris Krohn, as they discuss the opportunities the program affords undergraduates in the Environmental Studies department.

The Student Issue covered topics such as student-led projects and activities, experiential learning opportunities in the sciences for students, and The Cowell Press program that teaches students about the old art of letter press printing. The full issue is available as a PDF from the Review website.
